The Centre for Human Rights works towards human rights education in Africa, a greater awareness of human rights, the wide dissemination of publications on human rights in Africa, and the improvement of the rights of women, people living with HIV, indigenous peoples, sexual minorities and other disadvantaged or marginalised persons or groups across the continent. Over the years, the Centre has positioned itself in an unmatched network of practising and academic lawyers, national and international civil servants and human rights practitioners across the entire continent, with a specific focus on human rights law in Africa, and international development law in general.
Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue
Human Rights
The Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD Centre) began operations in August 1999 and is today one of the world's most influential conflict mediation organisations. From its beginning as a venue in Geneva, Switzerland, where discreet discussions took place among those who had a practical impact on humanitarian policy and practice, the HD Centre has evolved into an independent global mediation organisation, with a presence in Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. Its aim is to help alleviate the suffering of individuals and populations caught up in both high-profile and forgotten conflicts, by acting as mediators and by providing other mediators with the support they need to work effectively.

Centre For People's Forestry
Research/Dev
Centre for People's Forestry was established in the year 2002 to develop and ground sustainable forest management mechanisms for enhancing livelihood security of the marginalised sections among the forest dwellers/dependents. The sustainable forest management envisioned in the National Forest Policy framed in 1988 demands effective participation of communities and NGOs in forest management. CPF has been a platform for regular interaction for communities, NGOs, government officials and other stakeholders to debate and arrive at meaningful footings/conclusions on issues that have not been given adequate attention.
Centre For Safety And Development
Humanitarian Aid
In a world where the need for help grows ever greater, respect for aid organisations and other NGOs is rapidly decreasing. We see that NGO staff run ever-greater risks of becoming victims of violence and conflict. This will jeopardise the continuity of aid operations and prolongs the humanitarian suffering. We believe in helping humanitarian organisations to strengthen their safety and security. They should be able to work and travel in insecure regions. That way those who need help can indeed be helped, even if they are in a dangerous area.

We do this through our research and by communicating our understanding through our publications.

Centrepoint
Community/Family
Over 80,000 young people will experience homelessness in the UK this year. This is a worryingly high figure, which doesn't include many of the 'hidden homeless'. We believe that we should live in a society where all young people are able to realise their potential. Since 1969, we have helped over 72,000 homeless young people to do just that. Through our award-winning approach to supporting homeless young people, collaborating with others and influencing government policy, we will achieve our vision of ending youth homelessness.

We want to improve their lives and help them be comfortable with their world, giving them the chances for experiences and enjoyment that all children should have. We aim to spread understanding and tolerance of all neurological conditions, leading to a culture of inclusion. In which children can make a choice about their life's direction and participate fully in society. Cerebra services add value to the child by taking a holistic approach.
