CSD is a non-profit foundation specialised in safety and security for humanitarian organisations worldwide.

In a world where the need for help grows ever greater, respect for aid organisations and other NGOs is rapidly decreasing. We see that NGO staff run ever-greater risks of becoming victims of violence and conflict. This will jeopardise the continuity of aid operations and prolongs the humanitarian suffering. We believe in helping humanitarian organisations to strengthen their safety and security. They should be able to work and travel in insecure regions. That way those who need help can indeed be helped, even if they are in a dangerous area.
