Known and recognised as the Anglo-Jewish Community's Cancer Support Organisation, Chai Cancer Care provides an extensive range of services for cancer patients, their family and friends. From initial diagnosis, through treatment, during the period when patients and their families are trying to regain control of their lives, and even many years later, Chai provides essential support. As medical advances facilitate the survival for more cancer patients, Chai Cancer Care's role is ever more critical. We offer a holistic approach, treating the 'patient' rather than the 'disease'. Our complementary therapies and physical and psychosocial support improve quality of life and facilitate rehabilitation. Research demonstrates that relief from stress and anxiety can promote healing.
