ECLOF

ECLOF is a global fellowship of ecumenical microfinance institutions. Basing its work on Christian values, this global network has agreed to Global Policies Guidelines and Minimum Standards of Performance. Within the broad global policy National ECLOFs operate national lending programs. Each National ECLOF has it's own board and local staff. The International Secretariat based in Geneva, Switzerland provides additional oversight, technical support, policy development, exchange of regional and country experiences and resource mobilisation. The secretariat is kept small as it is paid for by national ECLOFs and the goal is to strengthen national ECLOFs.

Eco Friends

Eco Friends, a Kanpur based non-governmental organisation (NGO), has been working in a sustained way over the last fifteen years on critical issues of environmental degradation. A key issue for Eco Friends is protecting the river Ganga from various sources of pollution. Eco Friends has been involved in generating mass awareness and deepening of national and international public debate on pollution-related issues, mobilizing the local communities in sustained high-pitched campaigns, focused action such as clean Ganga campaigns, legal activism through public interest litigation and persistent advocacy with media, opinion makers and other stakeholders. Though the extent of environment degradation is still worrying, Eco Friends has due achievements in a number of areas including passing of landmark judicial pronouncements to check river pollution and initiation of remedial steps by industry and government alike.

Eco Innovation

Eco Innovation contributes to eco-innovation research and development through research initiatives and participation in the research policy agenda (at the regional, national, European and international level). We innovate in e-education by designing and producing educational interactive services. These services are targettting specific themes and audiences and are adapted to the user by customization and co-construction. We collect, consolidate and represent our members' opinions in the European policy-making process, especially with regard to environment, innovation and education.

Eco-care Trust

Since its launch in 1995, the Eco-Care Trust has developed into one of the most active non-governmental organizations regarding the conservation of South Africa's natural water resources and ecosystems. The NGO was started by a volunteer group of committed citizens and was the answer to a need for an environmental group aimed specifically at the huge task of conserving the countries water resources like wetlands, dams and rivers. Eco-Care Trust succeeded in securing credibility through their programmes, and secured partners in government, environment and the water sector.

Eco-Needs Foundation

Eco-Needs Foundation is an organization of young people striving for environmental conservation and ECO-REVOLUTION. It is a revolution entailing all round ecological development which includes economic, social, educational, cultural, health, technological development and conservation of water and other natural resources, and above all the holistic development of the ecology. Globally more than 20,000 members carry forward our movement. In our vision, environmental conservation is not just planting saplings and creating wild life sanctuaries. This is just a part of it. If we want all living organisms to live happily, then “ECO- REVOLUTION” is necessary.

Ecoequitable inc.

Ecoequitable inc. is a non-profit small scale textile manufacturing enterprise creating work for immigrant women, the unemployed and part-time workers. Ecoequitable inc. engages the community in a partnership to recuperate fabric, rice bags, banners and umbrellas, in order to 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle' together.

EcoHealth Alliance

We believe the key to success is long-term, grassroots involvement. EcoHealth Alliance, a conservation science innovator, specializes in saving biodiversity in human-dominated bioscapes where ecological health is most at risk because of habitat loss, species imbalance, pollution and other environmental issues caused by human-induced change.

Ecojustice

Ecojustice, formerly Sierra Legal Defence Fund goes to court to defend the right of Canadians to a healthy environment. After nearly 17 years of fighting for environmental justice, in September 2007 we officially changed our name from Sierra Legal Defence Fund to: Ecojustice Canada. It is a name that clearly reflects the environmental and legal elements of our work and, equally important, it differentiates us from other organizations. While our name and look has changed, our work remains the same. We have carried on taking polluters to court and continue to fight for the right of all Canadians to a healthy environment.

EcoLocal

Our projects and services are designed to engage, and be accessible to, local communities. We are keen to develop links with statutory organisations and others in the region working toward low carbon and sustainable communities. EcoLocal recognises that there is not a single "community", but a diverse range of local communities. We reflect this in our approach. We have developed and piloted a range of tools and services covering environmental information, training, practical support, and neighbourhood engagement and social networking on energy, local food, transport, waste and recycling solutions.

Ecologia Youth Trust

Ecologia Youth Trust promotes the welfare of young people by providing safe secure learning environments in which they can discover and develop their potential to make a contribution to their communities while safeguarding the environment. We believe that positive change in the world can happen by nurturing and protecting children and nature. Our focus is on holistic, ecological education, eco-village community building and the cultural exchange of ideas.

Ecological Management Foundation

The Ecological Management Foundation (EMF) was established as a not-for-profit organization in March 1990 in the Netherlands. It has increasingly become clear during the last decades that we can no longer ignore the existence of the ecological dimension of our life support system. In order to restore the balance between human needs and earthy resources, we will have to change attitudes, have more knowledge and understanding of the ecological issue and act accordingly. The Ecological Management Foundation concentrates on research and networking in the field of sustainability and innovative ecologically responsible management.

Ecomuseum

Located on the western tip of the Island of Montreal, the Ecomuseum zoo offers its visitors a unique and natural experience. It is operated by the St. Lawrence Valley Natural History Society, a not-for-profit organization with a mission that focuses on education, research and applied conservation. We focus on education, research and applied conservation. Changing young people's relationships with the ecosystems of which they are a part is crucial if they are to have a positive, sustainable impact on the future of our environment. To this end, through a varied education program both on and off site, the Ecomuseum is currently running over 25 different programs for schools and the general public. With its living collection of wildlife species serving a dual role as both ambassador and catalyst, the Ecomuseum offers unmatched learning experiences for both children and adults.

Economic Policy Institute

The Economic Policy Institute (EPI), a nonprofit Washington D.C. think tank, was created in 1986 to broaden the discussion about economic policy to include the interests of low- and middle-income workers. Today, with global competition expanding, wage inequality rising, and the methods and nature of work changing in fundamental ways, it is as crucial as ever that people who work for a living have a voice in the economic discourse. EPI was the first — and remains the premier — organization to focus on the economic condition of low- and middle-income Americans and their families. Its careful research on the status of American workers has become the gold standard in that field. EPI publishes books, studies, issue briefs, popular education materials, and other publications; sponsors conferences and seminars; briefs policy makers at all levels of government; provides technical support to national, state, and local activists and community organizations; testifies before national, state, and local legislatures; and provides information and background to the print and electronic media.

Economic Policy Research Institute

The Economic Policy Research Institute (EPRI) was founded in 1994 to support the process of South Africa's socio-economic transformation and development. EPRI is committed to analysing South Africa's socio-economic conditions and constructing sustainable economic polices that foster job creation and redistribution while supporting sustained economic growth and macroeconomic stability. The main objective of EPRI is to carry out research supporting the objectives of economic growth, job creation, and redistribution. The orientation of the research is largely macroeconomic, supported by a careful analysis of microeconomic underpinnings drawn from an investigation of South African conditions.

Ecos Trust

Ecos Trust (a registered Charity) was established in 2000 and formerly known as the Somerset Trust for Sustainable Development. The Trust is based in the South West and promotes sustainable design and building techniques. It believes that sustainable design and construction is better for the environment, human health and social welfare. The Charity is no longer directly funded for its work but raises income through the events it runs and the consultancy it offers to both professionals and members of the public.

Ecoscience Research Foundation

ERF is dedicated to improve the quality of life on earth by being friends of the earth. We believe life can be made better by being friendlier to the environment we live in. We strive for our objective through research, creating awareness and by finding newer methods to conserve earth's precious resources. We carry on research in life sciences, environmental and developmental issues, we establish research, training and educational institutions to carry out the objectives of the trust.

EcoSolidar

EcoSource

EcoSource is an Ontario-based innovative environmental education organization serving youth, adults and families. Our work began in Mississauga and has expanded throughout the Region of Peel and beyond! Our hands-on programs focus on how each of us can change our daily habits to become better environmental citizens. At EcoSource, we believe that when people realize how much impact their daily choices have on our environment, they will choose to become better environmental citizens. And we believe that most people are ready and willing to make those changes – they just need information and support.

Ecotourism Kenya

Ecotourism Kenya is a civil society organization that was founded in 1996 to promote ecotourism and sustainable tourism practices in Kenya. Founded with enormous industry support, the society was charged with the responsibility of providing the required support for the development of ecotourism and sustainable tourism in the country. Today, the society continues to pursue the vision of making Kenya's tourism sustainable, in terms of concern for the environment and the welfare of local populations. As a membership organization, Ecotourism Kenya brings together individuals, community based organizations (CBOs) and corporate organizations in a forum where they can discuss the concept of ecotourism and use this knowledge to improve practices in their respective fields.

EcoViva

Since 1996, EcoViva – formerly the Foundation for Self-Sufficiency in Central America or FSSCA – has supported local initiatives in Central America, primarily in the post-conflict landscape of rural El Salvador. We have always collaborated directly with local organizations that are working towards food security, environmental conservation, conflict transformation, and social justice. Our work is primarily focused on the eastern side of the Lower Lempa River Estuary and the communities surrounding the Bay of Jiquilisco, on the southern central Pacific coast of El Salvador. We also provide some limited grants to community organizations in Honduras and Panama.
