The policy of the Charity is not political, religious or prejudiced.
Bridge House Kingston Incorporated
Community/Family
The agency was founded in 1980 as a direct response to the unique needs of families who find themselves "serving time on the outside" while a loved one is in prison. Bridge House was the first organization in Canada to have a mandate that directly addressed these challenges. The fundamental objective of all of Bridge House’s services is to provide support for women and children with an incarcerated loved one so that they will become empowered to achieve their own personal goals. We also provide emergency shelter for young women who are in situations of crisis. All services are inspired by a philosophy that recognizes the inherent worth of all people, respects the inherent human dignity of all people, and contributes to a just and caring community.

At Bridges we believe that long term change also comes from building mutual understanding,
Bridging Borders

BridgingBorders develops its actions in close collaboration with its partners around the principle of exchange and according to a specific concept called "the leverage effect". BridgingBorders develops its activities mainly in NIS countries.
Bright Hope International
Humanitarian Aid
Bright Hope is not your traditional ministry. We're not single cause-driven, we're needs driven, serving where despair and hopelessness seem insurmountable. We serve the poorest of the poor. Bright Hope only works in communities where people earn less than $1 per day. We believe the best models of international service are indigenous and holistic. Each of the communities we serve is uniquely different, so Bright Hope partners with indigenous local Christian leaders and churches who understand their community and are working to change lives in a holistic manner.

Bring Me A Book
Children/Education
Bring Me A Book’s Founder, Judy Koch, has a passion for education. As a former junior high school English teacher, Judy saw firsthand how difficult it was for hardworking parents to find time to visit the library, select appropriate books, and read aloud to their children. This problem was compounded for parents new to the English language. By providing libraries of high quality children's books and read aloud workshops to underserved communities, Bring Me A Book inspires reading aloud to children, the most important factor in determining a child's future success in reading.

British Deaf Association
Disability
The BDA is the largest Deaf organisation in the UK that is run by Deaf people. We represent the Sign Language community, which is united by shared experiences, history and, most importantly, by British Sign Language (BSL). The BDA wants to see a society where Sign Language users have the same rights, responsibilities, opportunities and quality of life as everyone else. BSL was recognised as an official British language on 18th March 2003, but it still does not have any legal protection. This means that Deaf Sign Language users do not have full access to vital information and services, including education, health and employment. BDA is campaigning for the legislation of BSL. We are also working to gain the right for all Deaf children to receive bilingual education, using BSL and English, and the right to quality and choice in education.
British Deer Society
Animals/Wildlife
Deer need to be managed in the United Kingdom. They have no natural predators and if left to their own devices their numbers will escalate out of control and they will soon be considered vermin, just like rats are today. We are, and will always wish to remain, the premier organisation promoting deer welfare and best management principles in deer management. Our in house training department delivers a varied range of courses developed to ensure that, whatever your interest in deer, you will receive the best quality training to develop your individual skills and knowledge. We undertake and fund research projects ensuring that deer, their issues and their threats are scientifically explored and understood and thus deliver workable solutions.
