The active involvement of these four sectors in all aspects of environmental policymaking produces robust and practical solutions to the environmental challenges that face the Nation. This philosophy, and its implementation in the Center’s everyday operations, means that leading policymakers and practitioners from government, industry, environmental organizations, and universities are able to work together to identify pressing environmental challenges and to agree upon ways of meeting those challenges. We believe that all relevant parties must be involved if the complex issues surrounding environmental policymaking are to be resolved.
The Henry Ford
Arts/Culture
It began as a simple yet bold idea to document the genius of ordinary people by recognizing and preserving the objects they used in the course of their everyday lives. It grew into the ultimate place to explore what Americans past and present have imagined and invented – a remarkable destination that brings American ideas and innovations to life. The sheer scope and design of Henry Ford Museum is as grand as the vision that inspired it. It's impossible not to feel a sense of awe as your mind adjusts to a different sense of scale – more vast, more expansive and more diverse– by far– than anything you'll encounter in everyday life. The sweeping, single-floor space with its soaring 40-foot ceilings covers nine acres dedicated to showcasing the finest collection of its kind ever assembled.

The Hope Sanctuary rescues abused, abandoned and neglected dogs and cats. The single most important thing that we can do to save animals from all the suffering and death that their overpopulation causes is to spay and neuter them. Just one female dog and her offspring can produce 67,000 puppies. So every time we spay or neuter just one animal, we prevent the births of thousands of animals. Our goal is to reduce the overpopulation of unwanted dogs while educating pet owners about the wonderful benefits of having their dog neutered.
