The National Community of Women Living with HIV/AIDS (NACWOLA) was founded in 1992. NACWOLA promotes positive living for women with HIV and AIDS in Uganda through the provision of psycho-social support, economic empowerment and advocating for access to essential services including treatement. The main beneficiaries are women living with HIV and AIDS and their immediate families, especially children infected and or affected by HIV and AIDS. The organisation has 30 branches and over 60,000 members across the country.

Naga Foundation is a non-profit organisation that is based in the Netherlands. It is innovative in the work that it does in relation to water management in semi-arid parts of Africa and Asia. Thanks to ingenious water management, water supplies are built up both above and below ground and benefit humans, plants and animals. Natural water supplies form the basis for drinking water, food and energy and promote health and hygiene.

Nalamdana

Nalamdana, meaning "Are you well?" in Tamil, is a non-profit organization based in Chennai, South India. It uses innovative communication methods to provide knowledge about health to illiterate audiences. Response-driven participatory street theatre, interactive games and puzzles, audio and video cassettes, tele films, small group workshops, television serials - Nalamdana explores the full range of communicative possibilities to reach out to people. Initially, we addressed a wide variety of health topics ranging from alcoholism, cancer prevention and suicide prevention to clean water and personal health and hygiene. Starting in 2000, after seven years of working closely with communities, we zeroed in on HIV AIDS prevention and Maternal and Child Health as the two areas most critically in need of knowledge intervention.

This nationwide collaboration of physicians and scientists are on the cutting-edge of innovative research programs, working as a team on therapeutic approaches to eradicate MS. Project Nanhi Kali was initiated in 1996 by the K C Mahindra Education Trust (KCMET) with the aim of providing primary education to underprivileged girl children in India. We believe that empowering the girl child with education will result in huge benefits for the nation in the long term. According to the World Bank some of the benefits associated with girls’ education include reduction of child and maternal mortality, improvement of child nutrition and health, lower fertility rates and improvement in economic production. Moreover the benefits in the form of reduction of abuse and exploitation of females are huge.

The NHA designs and delivers engaging, artifact-based educational exhibitions, programs and activities pertaining to Nantucket history and its material culture. Strategies for this include enhancing our interpretive programs at our historic properties, promoting our exhibition and program schedules, and encouraging and monitoring participation in our programs by the community. The NHA develops and manages its collections, including its properties, in order to enhance its role as a leader in preserving and interpreting Nantucket history. Strategies for this goal include continuing to document our collections and properties, expanding access to collections, and continuing to build collections that capture the history of Nantucket Island and its people.
Naples Botanical Garden

In 1993, a group of eight Naples residents founded the Garden with nothing more than the dream of creating a world-class botanical garden. In 2000, a gift from the Kapnick Family enabled the purchase of an extraordinary 170-acre site with seven different habitats just south of Old Naples. An existing strip mall and parking lot were transformed into a garden experience to introduce the community to what was to come.

Established in 1985 Narayan Seva Sansthan is a charitable organization having its office at Udaipur,Rajasthan and is rendering philanthropic services in the field of treatment and rehabilitation of polio affected persons of the society at large, without any discrimination on the ground of religion,region,caste,sex etc. At present it has been running 13 prestigious hospitals for polio patients and a big international hospital for treatment of disabled by birth in Udaipur where disabled person all corner of the world are being treated free of cost.

Valentine, the GRAMMY® Award-winning Nashville Symphony has a growing international reputation for its recordings and innovative programming. With 140 performances annually, the 84-member Nashville Symphony is an arts leader in Nashville and beyond, offering a broad range of classical, pops and jazz concerts; special events; children's concerts and community outreach programs. In 2003, the Nashville Symphony broke ground on the $123.5 million Schermerhorn Symphony Center, the new home of the Nashville Symphony, which opened on September 9, 2006 to critical acclaim. Highlights of the Symphony Center include the 1,844-seat Laura Turner Concert Hall and the 3,000 square-foot Mike Curb Family Music Education Hall. This new cultural center in downtown Nashville has had a significant artistic, social and economic impact on the city, and in addition, has given the Nashville Symphony a venue equal to its growing reputation and superb music-making.

In 1964, sisters Margaret and Elise Croft donated the Grassmere property to the Children's Museum of Nashville (Adventure Science Center). After the last sister's death in 1985, the Children's Museum began to develop about 40 of the property's 200 acres, which in 1990, became Grassmere Wildlife Park. That same year, Nashville Zoo opened its doors in Joelton, Tennessee.
