The National Community of Women Living with HIV/AIDS (NACWOLA) was founded in 1992.
NACWOLA promotes positive living for women with HIV and AIDS in Uganda through the provision of psycho-social support, economic empowerment and advocating for access to essential services including treatement. The main beneficiaries are women living with HIV and AIDS and their immediate families, especially children infected and or affected by HIV and AIDS. The organisation has 30 branches and over 60,000 members across the country.
