To Russia with Love is a charity helping Russian orphans in a number of regions across the Russian Federation but predominantly in the Bryansk Region in Western Russia. What started off in 1998 as one woman's promise to a child that she would come back to hug and kiss them has grown into a successful charity doing life changing work with thousands of orphaned and abandoned children across the Russian Federation. Buildings have been rebuilt, care and education programs developed, staff hired, and children loved.

Tofino Botanical Gardens Foundation is home to the Tofino Botanical Gardens and the Clayoquot Field Station. We are a non-profit organization and a registered Canadian charity, located on a 12-acre waterfront site in the Clayoquot Sound UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. We endeavour to explore the relationship between culture and nature by pursing interests across disciplinary lines. We are dedicated to the creation of a living classroom where future generations will learn about the natural and cultural history of Clayoquot Sound and the remaining coastal temperate rainforests of the world.

Their vision for ARF is an organization that can not only aid abandoned and homeless animals, but also promote the concept that people's lives can be enhanced by strengthening the bonds between humans and animals. With these intertwined goals as the guiding principles, and an intention to become a national as well as local leader, ARF has designed progressive programs for many populations including abused children, the elderly, victims of violence and others who can benefit from the healing contact of animals. ARF will continue to respond to the immediate needs of animals who have been neglected, abused or deprived of love to ensure they find high quality homes.

Tools With A Mission (TWAM) started twenty five years ago, and has since then given this help by collecting and refurbishing tools and equipment no longer required in the UK and sending them overseas. TWAM was the brainchild of John Bennett of Waterlooville. A teacher by profession, John became involved in getting together a collection of tools to support the agricultural development work being carried out in Zaire (as it was then) by the late David Stockley. John discovered that tools were badly needed and soon involved pupils from his school collecting all kinds of agricultural tools. Under his direct supervision the pupils cleaned, renovated and painted the tools ready to go to Zaire. In many countries of the world people have few skills, little education and no means of earning a living. A switch from aid dependency to self sufficiency is impossible without help.

The Topsy Foundation was conceptualised and founded in 2000 by Duke Kaufman, Silja Elena and Doug Maritz. The mission of the Topsy Foundation is fulfilled using interrelated programmes, which operate together to help prevent HIV and AIDS and alleviate its consequences. Frequently, the activities done in one project fulfil the mandates of more than one programme. It is precisely this 'web' of intervention that is helping to bring social, economic and physical change - within the communities that Topsy serves. Topsy seeks to address the effects of HIV and AIDS by intervening in the lives of individuals infected and affected by HIV and AIDS, as well as addressing the plight of affected children, by attending to their basic needs.

The day to day operations of The Toronto Humane Society emphasize the shelter and return of lost pets, care and hospital services for abused and abandoned animals, adoptions to good homes, and wildlife rehabilitation and release. The Society has a modern facility that houses its shelter, clinic and administrative offices. Technological advances such as computerized record-keeping, microchip pet identification and rapid-fire telecommunications systems have enhanced the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of shelter operations. The Society operates as an independent not-for-profit organization supported by donors and members. The THS does not receive government funding.

TOUGHLOVE® is a self help, family support group for any person, who is troubled by a loved one’s disruptive behaviour. In other words, we help the families of abusers to recover from the devastating effects that substance abuse has on them. We cover any form of unacceptable behaviour, substance abuse, addiction and support the family through any crisis they may be facing. TOUGHLOVE® is not run by professionals, it is run by family members who have practiced the principles and have an abuser in their families.

Tourettes Action is the UK’s leading support and research charity for people with Tourette Syndrome (TS) and their families. We want people with TS to receive the practical support and social acceptance they need to help them live their lives to the full. We deal with all forms of TS including the most challenging. TS is an inherited neurological condition. It affects one schoolchild in every hundred and more than 300,000 children and adults in the UK. TS is sometimes known as multiple tic disorder or tic spectrum disorder. In most cases TS is also linked to other behaviours, most often Obsessional Compulsive Disorder and Attention Deficit Disorder. Our work is organised into five programmes. Three focus on improving the quality of life of people with Tourette Syndrome at intersecting stages: children up to the age of 18; young adults aged 16 to 25; and adults beyond the age of 25. The fourth programme is specifically to improve experience of diagnosis, a particularly difficult time. The fifth programme aims to support research projects to improve quality of life at every stage.

Universal education is a great slogan. The biggest challenges to it are however more widely rooted in social structure and economic conditions than the slogan may suggest. Education in India hardly glitters if one takes a long hard look in it. We, at Towards Future want to address this in our small way. We want to be partners in the current drive for Universal Education for those, who are deprived to have this due to their economic distress and actually make a difference in lives of children and their families below poverty line by bringing education to them.

They deal with music, creeds, know-how, alternative education, etc.

We provide books, clothes, computers and medical supplies donated by individuals in the US to advance the education and maintain the health of these children. We help development of a facility in Ngong Town - Kenya which will supply housing and education to children who are orphaned or who are refugees from Political Strife and Environmental Disasters in Eastern Africa. We foster interchange of Culture between the US and Africa. Trans-Afrika Cultural Institute has sponsored numerous Art Shows and Concerts giving both cultures exposure to each other. We are looking to establish a Transafrika Cultural Center in Denver for cultural exchange and as a resource center. Transafrika Cultural Institutes, is committed to working with the disadvantaged communities that we serve locally and internationally. Most of our programs are geared towards disadvantaged children, so we can prepare them to become productive citizens, and future leaders in their own families and communities.
