Sky Badger
Disability
We are a group of parents of severely disabled and abled bodied children. We got fed up with seeing disabled children in sad appeals ads with wailing sound tracks and pity voice overs and have decided that normality, joy and silliness is what families of all types should be able to strive for. Sky Badger is a new national charity, set up to provide information and signpost services to disabled children and their families via our website. Sky badger links you to a huge variety of services, charities and special events...even free stuff. This is about having as much fun as possible; we all know that stresses, panic and depression are high-and there is help and we can show you where to find it. We want all of us to learn how to be families again. There will always be hospitals, tests, and rough times ahead. Sky badger is about chucking those feelings of a cliff and enjoying our children for who they are.
