From its roots in Milwaukee's first art gallery in 1888, the Museum has grown today to be an icon for Milwaukee and a resource for the entire state. The 341,000-square-foot Museum includes the War Memorial Center (1957) designed by Finnish-American architect Eero Saarinen, the Kahler Building (1975) by David Kahler, and the Quadracci Pavilion (2001) created by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. Central to the Museum's mission is its role as a premier educational resource, with educational programs that are among the largest in the nation, involving classes, tours, and a full calendar of events for all ages.

Our project was created after seeing the need for schools to refocus on developing the whole child. Many of our students and families are confronted with very difficult life circumstances. As our educational funding continues to suffer, students and families are receiving less resources. Mindful Life Project was developed with the understanding that our communities need resources that will lead to healing and developing skills that will support life long resiliency. Mindful Life Project provides the tools and skills to create change in behavior and discipline, which guides them to become positive leaders. This change in the students will then lead to a stronger school climate and community. The focus of Mindful Life Project is on empowering students to find the inherent greatness within themselves. We use many different healing, and resilience-building modalities to help the students who are suffering greatly and affecting the learning environment of hundreds of others. Our focus is on bringing awareness to each student's experiences and closely working with families to find the innate power of each child. By using many different proven methods of healing and empowerment, students learn skills and tools to persevere through difficult emotional experiences. Each student finds ways to stop the negative cyclical behavior. They find discipline and awareness to help confront all of life's experiences. This improves not only the student's life outlook, but creates a more peaceful school and community climate.

The Minor Foundation for Major Challenges is a non-profit foundation that supports information and public-opinion-forming aimed at limiting human induced climate change. Any project whose objective is to influence public opinion and change attitudes to these problems is eligible for support. We want to support innovative, experimental, untested measures. The Minor Foundation will give priority to the media and tools that have the greatest impact at any time. The foundation is Norwegian but our task is international. We welcome projects with an international scope and/or potential. The foundation looks favourably on North-South co-operation in information projects. Projects, which target information about adaptation to climate change, will only be supported on the condition that they simultaneously highlight the causes for the climate problem and their solutions.
Miracle Babies

We provide emotional and practical support to families through hospital visits, newsletters, an online forum, playgroups, a 1300 phone number and an annual picnic. Miracle Babies can provide the structure and guidance for parents of miracle babies to set up their own support group in their local area. Miracle Babies aims to raise community awareness and help educate people about the needs of these special newborns. The group works to raise funds for much needed equipment and resources for Newborn Intensive Care Units. Miracle Babies originated through, and is closely aligned with, Liverpool Public Hospital in Sydney, earmarked to be the biggest hospital in the southern hemisphere. Founding members of Miracle Babies are all mothers who have experienced the birth of a premature or sick newborn. We understand the emotions of fear, love, guilt and elation and have learned to triumph over the challenges a premature or sick birth can bring.

Founded in 1985, Miracle Flights for Kids® is a national, 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization dedicated to helping very sick children overcome financial obstacles that prevent them from accessing proper medical care and second opinions. Miracle Flights for Kids flies children who are struggling with serious cancers and debilitating diseases to specialized medical treatment centers across the U.S. Any child needing medical treatment or seeking out a second opinion not available in their own home town is eligible to apply for a miracle mission.

MiraMed is a United Nations accredited non-governmental organization with Special Consultative status in the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the UN.

Missing Children SA was established in March 2007 in response to the kidnapping and brutal murders of Sheldean Human (7) of Pretoria and Anestacia Wiese (12) of Mitchell’s Plain, to assist and support families finding themselves in similar tragic situations. The first 24 hours after a child goes missing, is the most crucial and our organisation exists to create awareness and to react immediately, when a child is reported missing. Missing Children SA assists the South African Police Service in finding children and creating a national awareness. Citizens of South Africa do not realise the reality of child abduction and run-aways and as an organisation we intend to change this point of view.

Mission Armenia was founded in Yerevan, Armenia in 1993, and is one of Armenia's largest and most successful non-governmental humanitarian agencies. The organisation has brought financial, emotional, physical and medical assistance - and spiritual support and hope - to refugees from Azerbaijan and Karabagh. Mission Armenia also provides regular home care and support for over 6,000 elderly people throughout Armenia. The work of Mission Armenia is increasingly focused on development programs through community building and volunteerism. Mission Armenia has a staff of 450 social workers, doctors, nurses and other specialists. Mission Armenia is propelled by Christian values at the core of which is faith, hope and love.
