We are made up of a tireless staff, hundreds of full time volunteers, and thousands of students and supporters. We are young, we are citizens of the world, we are artists, activists, and entrepreneurs.

School classes and junior-teams define, plan and execute their projects independently but are supervised by experienced IPA staff. All projects are inspected by IPA on location, and once completed, are checked over again. This way all donors have the guaranty that their money is being used in exactly the right places and that people are really getting the help they need.
IPACC
Human Rights
The Indigenous Peoples of Africa Co-ordinating Committee (IPACC) is a network of 150 indigenous peoples’ organisations in 20 African countries. IPACC’s view is that all peoples in Africa should be able to contribute to the economy and governance of our countries. There was a time when indigenous peoples were respected for their advanced spiritual and technical knowledge of the forests, savannah and deserts. However, due to their marginalisation under colonialism, indigenous peoples are sometimes ignored by African states or are seen as anachronistic and ‘backwards’. The cultures and economies of many indigenous peoples are at risk due to policies and practices that do not take their needs and knowledge into account.
IPPNW

IPPNW is a non-partisan federation of national medical organizations in 63 countries, representing thousands of doctors, medical students, health workers, and concerned citizens who are united behind the goal of creating a more peaceful and secure world freed from the threat of nuclear annihilation. We recognize that the catastrophic health and environmental consequences of a nuclear war are at the extreme end of a continuum of armed violence that undermines health and security. IPPNW is committed to ending war and advancing understanding of the causes of armed conflict from a public health perspective.

Irish Anti-vivisection Society
Animals/Wildlife
We believe it is morally wrong to deliberately inflict pain, suffering, emotional harm and death on animals for whatever purpose. Animal experiments, by definition, cannot be separated from some degree of pain and suffering. Using animals as substitutes for human beings in research and testing is scientifically questionable and experimental results are unreliable due to the numerous species differences between animals and ourselves. A ban on all experiments on animals is unlikely to be won in the short term due to the powerful prevailing views of science, industry and governments worldwide. It is therefore vital that the IAVS strongly opposes animal experiments on both moral and scientific grounds while promoting scientific research and testing methods that do not involve animals.
