International Bridges to Justice IBJ
Human Rights
International Bridges to Justice is an independent, non-profit and non-governmental organization founded in 2000 that strives to protect due process and achieve fair trials for the accused throughout the world. In countries where governmental commitment to human rights principles has, as of yet, failed to meet its practical goal, IBJ fills the gap between human rights legislation and domestic implementation. Currently operating in China, Vietnam and Cambodia, IBJ has just recently launched projects in Rwanda, Zimbabwe and Burundi. In response to urgent requests, we are also expanding initiatives to reach other parts of the world. We envision a world without torture or unjust legal proceedings, and we work every day to achieve this end. Specifically, IBJ works to guarantee all citizens the right to competent legal representation, the right to be protected from cruel and unusual punishment, and the right to a fair trial.
International Business for Children
Children/Education
International Business for Children is an non-profit organisation, headed up by an enthusiastic team with a vision: to create business units that will generate a monthly income to financially support projects in Third World countries that are involved in taking care of the direct needs of children, in the form of food, clothing, education, medical attention and play. We are, therefore, looking for financial support from businesses and private individuals, which will enable us to set up our first business unit in the Netherlands. This business unit will be a indoor play centre called "Oog voor Afrika" - Eye on Africa. The profit generated by this business unit will be invested in South Africa to financially support projects that are taking care of the direct needs of children.
International Campaign for Tibet
Human Rights
For two decades, we have called the world's attention to the injustices and brutality being suffered by the people of Tibet. We monitor and report on human rights, environmental and socio economic conditions in Tibet, while promoting self-determination for the Tibetan people through negotiations between the Chinese government and the Dalai Lama. ICT also advocates for Tibetans imprisoned for their political or religious beliefs and it ecures humanitarian and development assistance for Tibetans.
International Campaign to Ban Landmines
Human Rights
Landmines kill and maim several thousand people every year – farmers cultivating their land, children playing, women fetching water – families struggling to survive. The International Campaign to Ban Landmines fights to keep civilians safe from these inhumane weapons that still pose a risk, decades after conflicts have ended. Thanks to the ICBL’s actions throughout the world, the number of new landmine victims has dropped dramatically and the use of landmines is increasingly rare. But there is still work to do to clear the land that is contaminated by these silent killers and to take care of landmine survivors. We will keep fighting until everyone is safe from landmines. Will you join us?

International Centre for Eyecare Education
Disability
At least 670 million people, mostly in the developing world, are blind or vision impaired simply because they don’t have access to a basic eye examination and a pair of glasses. This unnecessary disability has a major impact on people’s lives. The link between poverty and avoidable blindness is indisputable. Uncorrected vision impairment causes profound economic disadvantages to individuals, their families and societies. Since 1998, when ICEE was founded in Australia, we have been developing and implementing sustainable solutions for improved eye care access. We collaborate with governments, communities and international non-government organisations to develop long term solutions by investing in local eye care education, professional education, appropriate service delivery systems and research to ensure sustainable eye care in underserved communities.

International Childcare Trust
Children/Education
International Childcare Trust (ICT) was founded in 1982 by David Lamont, who had worked as a teacher at the grassroots level in the UK, Asia and Africa. In all of our programmes, we work to protect children's rights within a community development context, so children, their families and their communities are always involved in the decisions that shape our supported programmes. By supporting us you are helping us to provide vital services to help some of the world’s poorest children have a chance to build a future. Through such services as primary health care, income generation schemes, rehabilitation centres, training and many other aspects of support.
International Children's Fund
Children/Education
The International Children’s Fund is a distinctively effective children’s charity focused on work across the African continent. Practical, direct grassroots action is the main focus of ICF. We channel the Christian concern of Americans into street level impact in African villages, where logistics often frustrate traditional relief efforts. The secret ingredient is a trustworthy network of local, native missionary partners, who personally shepherd your gifts of food, clothing, medicine, equipment and funds to the places children need them most. Ultimately, ICF is a way to be certain that your spirit of giving is felt directly in the hearts of the African children who are its desired result.
International Children's Heart Foundation
Children/Education
Our goal is to make the need for ICHF obsolete. We work toward this goal through our mission trips where we operate and educate local health care professionals, and provide needed equipment and medications. As a 501(c)3 charitable organization, the ICHF enlists your support to provide hope and life for children throughout the developing world. Let our passion become yours! After organizing its work and conducting 78 surgeries in Memphis, TN, the ICHF turned its focus to developing countries where children with congenital heart defects have no options. These countries span all continents. ICHF has conducted medical mission trips since the beginning of their work in 1993. Our trips have increased over the years so that now there are at least two ICHF Medical Teams every month repairing children’s hearts somewhere in the world.

International Council on Human Rights Policy
Research/Dev
We conduct independent applied research, taking an international, consultative and multidisciplinary approach. The International Council was conceived in 1994, by Philip Alston, Thomas Hammarberg and Margo Picken. They suggested that a space should be created to discuss human rights policy dilemmas and difficult implementation problems that arise. This proposal was subsequently discussed with a large number of human rights thinkers and organisations around the world, on the basis of two meetings, in Arden House (New York) in October 1993 and at the Research Centre for International Law (Cambridge) in July 1994.

Sharing their everyday life with people having a different cultural background, the exchangees get a distinguished insight into their host culture. They get to know another country with its social, cultural, religious, linguistic, emotional and economic aspects. This experience gives them the possibility to question profoundly their own person as well as their own culture.
International Disaster Emergency Service
Humanitarian Aid
Among independent Christian Churches and Churches of Christ, the work of IDES is unique -- the one source our churches and missionaries consistently turn to for help. Wells are dug to give the missionary opportunity to teach about the Living Water. Food is given to open hearts to the Bread of Life. Lives are changed as blankets and medicines are given in the name of Jesus. Houses are built to provide shelter for families, and they experience the warmth of being part of the family of God. God's love is demonstrated not just with words, but with deeds and in truth.
