By strenghtening the voices of family farmers, Farm Aid stands up for the most resourceful, heroic Americans—the family farmers who work the land. When you eat food grown by family farmers, you know what you’re getting - honest, real food grown by people who care about their land, their community, and their future. We are the home of St.Strompus Hospice for Sick Cats, a haven for cats who are FIV positive. We believe that FIV should not mean an automatic death sentence, and have established this hospice in one of our existing buildings to enable us to give these cats optimum care. Not having kennels we are very limited in the number of dogs we can take in, but we can offer help to other animals. We have many animals available for adoption, including cats and kittens, rabbits and guinea pigs. We have recently been privileged in purchasing a woodland close to the sanctuary, which we are using as a wildlife rehab and release area, as well as offering protection to the animals who share this woodland with us. We are a no-kill sanctuary, taking all kinds of animals (including wildlife), providing we have the room and the right facilities to give them optimum care.
