Created in 1942 by Hollywood stars like Humprhey Bogart, James Cagney, and the Warner brothers, the Entertainment Industry Foundation was established on the belief that the entertainment industry was in a unique position to truly help others. The Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), as a leading charitable organization of the entertainment industry, harnesses the collective power of the entire industry to raise awareness and funds for critical health, educational and social issues in order to make a positive impact in our community and throughout the nation. EIF has mobilized the entire entertainment community around a multi- year service initiative, called iParticipate, designed to encourage more Americans to volunteer and serve in their communities. EIF advances thoughtful and effective philanthropy in the industry by offering high caliber professional charitable services.
Entrepreneurs of the World
Microfinance
Entrepreneurs du Monde, a French organisation created in 1998, intervene with populations in developing countries. The association enables an expanding number of particularly underprivileged men and women to create and develop an income-generating activity and to give them an access to credit, savings and training programs leading to a qualification. After 10 years of operations, Entrepreneurs of the World is active in 9 countries worldwide.

Environmental Alert (EA) is a Non Governmental development Organization born out of the need to address the alarmingly low levels of agricultural productivity in the country, high levels of food insecurity and low incomes in both rural and urban poor communities, in addition to protecting against rapid degradation of natural resources on which community livelihood depends. With more than fifteen years of grassroots level involvement with resource poor communities, capacity building of Intermediary institutions and Civil Society Organizations in Environment & Natural Resources management policies and practices, Environmental Alert has maintained a multi-level policy engagement. Environmental Alert is also a 1st prize winner of one of the most prestigious awards for environmental sustainability in the world, The Energy Globe Award.
Environmental Awareness Group of Antigua and Barbuda

The Environmental Awareness Group (EAG) is a national, voluntary, not-for-profit, non-governmental organization. Members of the Historical and Archaeological Society (HAS), a support group of the Museum of Antigua and Barbuda had concerns about the pressures on Antigua- Barbuda's natural environment. On June 9, 1988, the Museum hosted a meeting on environmental issues, highlighting environmental abuse in Antigua-Barbuda. The group joined the Caribbean Conservation Association to promote greater awareness in the Caribbean of the importance of environmental conservation. Subsequent meetings held by members of HAS led to the creation of the Concerned Citizens Conservation Committee, and in 1989 this was formally constituted as an organisation under the Friendly Societies Act and renamed the EAG, the oldest, largest, and most collaborative organization in the nation whose purpose is to promote and protect the local environment through education, outreach, hands on programs, and awareness.

The Environmental Defence Society is a not-for-profit environmental advocacy organisation, comprised of resource management professionals who are committed to improving environmental outcomes within New Zealand. EDS was established in 1971 by a group of law students and scientists. The idea behind EDS was to bring together the disciplines of science, law and planning to advocate for the environment. Since its inception, EDS has had a long and largely successful history of litigating environmentally significant cases. More recently EDS has become increasingly involved in providing support and capacity building for individuals, community organisations and councils; in undertaking research and policy analysis on key environmental issues; and in profiling key issues through seminars and conferences.

Located in the Craigieburn Forest Park the centre provides a perfect setting to explore personal and social responsibility in addressing New Zealand’s environmental issues. Students, staff and parents are accommodated in the Centre's extensive modern facilities. Korimako Lodge - the main building of the facility - can comfortably accommodate 36 students and five adults, provides an expansive kitchen, large main room, and four separate bunkrooms.

ELPC's multidisciplinary staff of talented and experienced public interest attorneys, environmental business specialists, public policy advocates, and communications specialists brings a strong and effective combination of skills to solve environmental problems and improve the quality of life in our Midwestern communities.

Environmental Rights Action/Friends of the Earth, Nigeria is a Nigerian advocacy group dedicated to the defence of the Human ecosystem in terms of human rights. ERA/FoEN is the Nigerian chapter of the Friends of the Earth International (FoEI). ERA is also the coordinating NGO for the Oilwatch International as well as the host of the secretariat of the Africa Tobacco Control Regional Initiative (ATCRI).ERA coordinates NGO for the Nigerian Tobacco Control Alliance (NTCA). The organization's committed struggles for environmental human rights has won it recognition through awards such as Sophie Prize (1998) for excellence and courage in the struggle for environmental Justice and the Bloomberg Award for Tobacco control activism.

Environmental Traveling Companions (ETC) opens the beauty and challenge of outdoor adventures to people with special needs. Every year over 2,000 people of all abilities join us to raft whitewater rivers, ski across alpine meadows, sea kayak the waters of the Golden Gate and sleep beneath the open sky. ETC trips enable participants to access the wilderness, gain environmental awareness, and share the adventure. We invite you to join us on a trip. Groups and individuals of all abilities are welcome to participate in our sea kayaking, rafting and cross-country skiing programs.

The First West Foundation was established in 1996 by the management and Board of Directors of First West Credit Union. The First West Foundation provides much-needed funding to community organizations working diligently to lend a helping hand to people living in our communities. By being responsible trustees and working to grow our endowment funds, we're helping ensure that the Foundation is a sustainable source of funding for the community for years to come. Grants from the Foundation have helped make a variety of community dreams a reality. Since inception, we've distributed over $1.6 million in grants to worthwhile community projects.

We work together with a large group of young entrepreneurial people, senior executives, corporate partners and universities to co-create these innovative businesses. Enviu scouts and generates ideas and makes them happen. We foster innovative, sustainable solutions for environmental or social issues, that have a business case, that are scalable, and challenging for young people to get involved. Enviu is based in The Netherlands but has an international network of young entrepreneurs, creatives, young professionals and students; the decision makers of the near future who share their networks, expertise and time in order to work towards an economy that creates value for people and planet.

We believe that epic change can only be created through passionate commitment from local individuals who have demonstrated successful leadership within their communities. While we provide access to global resources and global ideas, we use those only to empower local leaders to make critical decisions based on their understanding of and a deep respect for their own culture and people. Epic Change amplifies the voices and impact of grassroots changemakers and social entrepreneurs.

134,000 Australians experience the unpredictable and often debilitating effect of epilepsy. More still have seizures provoked by triggers like sudden high fever or concussion. Meeting their needs is the principle aim of national not-for-profit organisation Epilepsy Action. Epilepsy Action provides education and support services to children and adults with epilepsy or other seizure disorders across Australia. Our vision is that all Australians affected by seizures will have the opportunity to live confident lives. Our team of highly qualified registered nurses and educators is equipped with a rich base of technical expertise, built up during five decades of services to the community.
