We are a nonprofit organization created to benefit those who are physically challenged due to disability caused during birth, illness or injury. We help men, women and children, in Ghana, West Africa. Some of the patients we have helped have struggled in poverty and poor living conditions with physical handicaps such as deformed or twisted limbs, paralysis, amputations, and various other physical limitations that have rendered some immobile and many completely dependent on others for even the most basic of needs. Many of these disabilities could have been prevented through better nutrition, immunizations, care or medical treatment. We have a chance to make a difference. Already, crutches, wheel chairs, orthopedic shoes, leg braces, medical care, surgical procedures and more are making a huge impact on the lives of many Ghanaians. But there are countless others waiting and hoping for their chance at a better life.
