Chinese International Missions
Research/Dev
Chinese International Missions was founded in 1992 in the United States by Rev. Clarence Pi who had a deep conviction that Chinese churches should provide a new worldwide missionary thrust not only to their own kinsmen but also to other ethnic groups cross culturally. We are recruiting Short-Term Missions teams from Chinese churches in Canada, US and other overseas countries to go to Africa to serve and to learn. We provide opportunities for the Short-Term Missions teams to come to contribute and at the same time allow God to speak to them and change their lives. We work in partnership with local churches, missions agencies, missionaries and seminaries to materialize our vision of cross-cultural outreach to other ethnic groups. Our conviction is that we are different members of Christ’s body, supplementing each other as we extend His kingdom through missionary activities.
Chinese Conservation Education Trust Ccet
Environment
Chinese in Auckland are especially lucky to have the Department of Conservation to help to set up a "Chinese Conservation Education Trust". Through activities we can learn about conservation. Though we can enjoy clean fresh air and nice living environment here in New Zealand, we understand that any environmental pollution happening anywhere in our Global Village, sooner or later will affect us. Nowadays we cannot only think and care for ourselves. Though Chinese Conservation Education Trust has only been launched since April 2002, we have already organized several activities. The overwhelming support we have received has given us much confidence.

From its shared roots over a century ago as The Choate School and Rosemary Hall, through the merger in 1974, to the Choate Rosemary Hall of today, the name represents the best in American secondary education. The more than 16,000 graduates can attest to the quality of Choate's academic program, but that is only one aspect of the education a student receives. Through interactions with members of the entire Choate community, students mature into young adults who not only have stretched their minds, but have grown personally, spiritually, artistically, and athletically.

The organisation, which is not Government funded, provides direct practical help to children with cancer, from diagnosis on, recognising the inevitable disruption to family life when a child faces vigorous and often lengthy treatment. Funds raised are applied to directly benefit the children and their families, and also those involved in the treatment of these most serious illnesses.
