The Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre (CCAC) is one of the longest running registered charitable organizations of its kind in the city of Toronto. During our 30 years of service, the Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre (CCAC) has provided thousands of children with quality music and art instruction. The Centre includes studios for private lessons and practice, as well as a visual arts space, and a large performance area with a stage. Our role in the community is to provide high-quality arts and musical programming to those who would otherwise not be able to afford it. We recognize that the education of arts and music plays a vital role in the lives of children. The CCAC contributes to the development of these young students by providing a safe haven to explore their musical and artistic potential.

CADAS was founded in 1979 by a group of concerned individuals and professionals in the field who wanted to provide a service for the people of Cumbria who suffered from then effects of alcohol and drugs. In the last 30 years CADAS has grown to its current size with around 20 paid staff and some 60 volunteers, operating from 5 centres across Cumbria. We continue to provide our drug and alcohol service to individuals and now offer help to families, communities and employers with training and information provisions. We believe that our major strengths are our independence, our commitment to people and communities, our non-judgemental approach and our accessibility.

Canadian Alliance for Development Initiatives and Projects (CADIP) is a non-profit Canadian organization based in Vancouver, British Columbia. It has no religious or political affiliation. Calabash Trust to date assists many schools, pre-schools and youth projects in and around the Port Elizabeth area. The Calgary Sexual Health Centre is a community-based organization that provides access to non-judgmental sexual and reproductive health services and supports across the lifespan. We began as a grassroots volunteer organization and have been providing comprehensive sexuality education and counselling to the Calgary community since 1972. CBCA’s work focused on improving access to birth control and increasing support for women facing unplanned pregnancies. Since that time, the Calgary Sexual Health Centre has evolved to include a range of services and programs to ensure that individuals are able to make informed, positive choices about their sexual and reproductive health.
