Udayan Care is a registered charitable Trust working for the last 15 years, for the quality care of disadvantaged children and women, expanding its horizons to reach out to underserved sections of society that need intervention. Through the power of mentorship, we nurture relationships that transform orphaned children in our long-term foster homes, disadvantaged girls in our education scholarships, underserved youth and adults in our IT & Vocational training centres, and children affected by HIV in our outreach programme. We have served more than 6500 people in 5 cities and advocacy children's rights and protection.

In 1998, the Ford Foundation East Africa Office commissioned work to explore the idea of self-reliance and community-led and resourced development. This work was occasioned by the need to reduce dependence on foreign aid. Called the Africa Philanthropy Initiative (API), the work involved research, focused discussion, and debate on sustainability of development efforts by stakeholders throughout Africa. The efforts resulted in important ideas, initiatives, and institutions, including Ufadhili Trust, that champion the cause of local resource mobilisation for social development. Ufadhili’s distinctive niche is based on one of the greatest challenges that confronts the civil society sector. That of raising adequate resources to support development work. Ufadhili promotes and facilitates collaborative links within and among communities, individuals, and local businesses to increase efforts in pooling resources together from various local sources.

Uganda Development Services - UDS

Uganda Development Services is motivated by Christ's commission to love by sharing what we have with others. We consciously depend on Christ's enabling and provision. UDS in the UK identifies with and supports the work of Uganda Development Services, Uganda. It also runs Ufund Services through which donors in the UK send funds that they have raised themselves to Uganda. These are then distributed to projects of their own choosing in Uganda, which they wish to support.

UKSA is a strategic, umbrella and coordinating body working with agencies and athletes from all four Home Countries in the UK who develop grass roots sports opportunities. UKSA facilitates talented athletes along the performance pathway to international opportunities including European and World Championship events, plus the Global Games and ultimately the Paralympic Games. It is the only portal in the UK through which Great Britain athletes can compete at INAS-FID competition.

UN Watch participates actively at the UN as an accredited NGO in Special Consultative Status to the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and as an Associate NGO to the UN Department of Public Information (DPI).
