We also work hard to ensure that one-parent families have a clear voice that is heard by policy and decision-makers.

Known in Kenya as "Mudzini Kwetu", OHMH finds, rescues, houses, loves, educates children & equips them to be the future agents of change in their community. Our goal is to house those who need us most and to raise and educate a group of children with the ability and desire to change the system that keeps them and other children in an endless cycle of poverty. Our philosophy is that investing in education and family support for children is the most effective way of ending cyclical poverty.

From our Dublin offices we support individuals, families and groups with expert and specialised psychotherapy. One in Four’s team of skilled and knowledgeable advocates support people dealing with the practical aspects of the aftermath of abuse, e.g. accessing the criminal justice system, child protection services. The aim of our client centred services is to bring people from surviving life to living life. Our work in prevention covers campaigning, offender treatment and public awareness. Our team of psychotherapists work to protect children by running individual and group offender programmes.

One Voice improves living conditions for animals in laboratories, farms or slaughterhouses, whether they are kept for recreation and socialization or for human clothing. Hand in hand with a booming market in family pets, major trafficking in pets, especially dogs and cats, has developed in Europe. One Voice denounces this scandal. Animals' rights must be recognized. To achieve this goal, One Voice continues its missions in four areas: health, food and clothing, entertainment and company ethics. We work towards the abolition of animal experimentation. One Voice has also developed a label to certify products "not tested on animals".

The main goal of One! is the future. And of course the key to the future is the children and the youth. Basic education for children is a must. However, in order to accomplish this, education must also be extended to the older population by conveying educations' necessity, and also to try and break the parent's dependance on their children for the food and money they earn by begging or working underaged. In order to conquer education, other problems must be faced simultaneously. Basic needs, such as nutrition, housing and medical attention as well as the problems faced by women: maltreatment by men and continual pregnancy.

For more than 30 years, Open Family Australia has been providing a range of Outreach services to young people experiencing high complex needs. Our client group is young people aged between 12 and 25 who are disengaged from society. Over 80% of these young people are in this situation due to family break down or family conflict. This issue goes across all socio-economic groups and may result in homelessness, criminal activity, drug abuse, mental health problems and disengagement from school or employment. We engage with young people to link them to services which can help them connect back into a supportive environment and a healthy community. This could include crisis support and services such as housing, health, drug and alcohol programs, family counselling, legal services, re-engagement back into school, and assisting young people to find suitable work.
