ITNC
Animals/Wildlife
The ITNC is a British registered charity founded in 1980 by the late A.V. Jim Edwards, former Chairman of the Tiger Mountain Group of Companies, and a group of likeminded people. ITNC works for conservation in various ways. Sometimes we initiate projects, handing them over to local people once established. Deforestation is particularly severe in places where the only way to earn a living is to cut down trees, selling the wood for fuel or as building material; in those areas, in addition to promoting tree-planting and soil improvement ventures, ITNC supports schemes which provide alternative sources of income for local communities. Sometimes we contribute to another charity's programme or support individuals with grants, in cash or kind, for scientific research

Jack and Jill Childrens Foundation
Community/Family
Many people are blessed with healthy babies. For them, parenting is about feeding, changing, teething, and catching the odd snatch of sleep! The Jack & Jill Foundation provides care and support for children with severe neurological development issues, as well as offering some respite to the parents and families. This could be through home visits from nurses, with practical tips on how to access the services a child will need. Listening to what parents want for their child and making representations on their behalf. Bereavement support and an online forum for parents. Jack & Jill also provides direct funding to families, enabling them to buy home respite care to give them a break.
