Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra

The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1930 by German conductor Ferdinand Schaefer. Its inaugural performance was noted by Time Magazine. Through the years, the group of volunteer musicians who split the original ticket sales grew into a professional orchestra that performs more than 200 concerts each year at the historic Hilbert Circle Theatre and at Conner Prairie Living History Museum, as well as sites around the state. The Circle Theatre opened in 1916 as one of the nation's first grand movie palaces. After a detailed and extensive renovation, it reopened on October 12, 1984 as the home of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Learning Community cultivates music's unique ability to connect people, embrace community need and improve the quality of life in Indiana.

Since opening in 1964, the Indianapolis Zoo has grown into a world-class facility hosting a million visitors each year and playing a major role in worldwide conservation and research, including accomplishing the world's first successful artificial insemination of an African elephant. The Indianapolis Zoo is located in White River State Park downtown and is the only attraction accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and the American Association of Museums as a zoo, an aquarium and a botanic garden. Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund

Inland Waterways Trust

IWA is a national charity run by volunteers, and has over 17,500 members whose interests include boating, towpath walking, industrial archaeology, nature conservation and many other activities associated with the inland waterways. We advocate the restoration, conservation, good maintenance and sensitive development of the inland waterways of England and Wales, including the structures and buildings of the waterways that are an integral part of the waterway environment. We also encourage the fullest use of the inland waterways for recreation and commerce in so far as that is commensurate with their preservation, the maintenance and improvement of their historic and natural environment and the enjoyment of others. We educate everyone about the use and benefits of the inland waterways by means of publications, practical examples to demonstrate benefits and participative activities.

Inner North Community Foundation

The Inner North Community Foundation is a community foundation with a major focus on breaking down barriers to employment for disadvantaged local people in Melbourne's inner northern communities. Barriers that local people face on a daily basis include intellectual disabilities, living with mental illness, backgrounds of generational unemployment, migrant or refugee status, language barriers, homelessness, and many other issues. While we have assisted hundreds of local people increase their job-readiness, work and life skills, self-esteem, confidence, and industry and support networks, greater access to employment still remains an issue for many more local people in our region. The Inner North Community Foundation funds local charitable organisations running innovative and creative employment related programs for disadvantaged local people. The programs are based across the municipalities of Darebin, Moreland, and Yarra. With your support, we aim to continue helping hundreds more local people to bridge the gap between unemployment and financial and social wellbeing.

InnoAid is a volounteer, international network, established in January 2008. Innocence in Danger represents an action force to sensitise and catalyse, educate and inform governmental and non-governmental bodies, European and international intergovernmental bodies, business enterprises, and the general public – schools, community associations, the youth.

Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy

IATP works with organizations around the world to analyze how global trade agreements impact domestic farm and food policies. Alongside a global coalition, IATP advocates for fair trade policies that promote strong health standards, labor and human rights, the environment and, most fundamentally, democratic institutions. We are developing alternative economic models that include clean sources of energy such as wind power and biofuel that would spur rural development. We're working with landowners to form cooperatives that promote sustainable forest management. We're advocating for green businesses and farms that reduce toxic runoff into the Great Lakes and Mississippi River.
