We Yone Child Foundation - Sierra Leone (WYCF-SL) is an non-profit NGO operating in Freetown, Sierra Leone. We are committed to providing sustainable education to 1,072 children in the communities of Kroo Bay and George Brook. WYCF-SL is guided by strict principles of honesty, fairness, commitment and fun. We are small, but so far these principles are guiding us firmly towards our goals. By remaining consistent with our objectives and creative with our strategy, we aim to continuing managing three Primary Schools, training of teachers,construction of George Brook school, empowering local women to produce safe and reusable sanitary pads to help keep girls in school and local women healthy including providing sustainable security for caregivers through family business grants and scholarship to children at risk of dropping-out and out of school. We will continue and ensure the growth of our campaign on sexual gender based violence and gender equality within our communities.
