To mitigate the double burden of poverty and poor access to quality health care in regions where health systems have either collapsed or are in crisis through the provision of emergency medical care, general and public health services and capacity building.

AAI regards health as a fundamental human right and its goal is for this right to be realised in some of the most remotest and dangerous regions in the world. AAI was established by a core of like-minded individuals with varied backgrounds and skills who have dedicated themselves to the principals of equality, justice, freedom, and the alleviation of suffering. It is a humanitarian, non-sectarian organisation that provides assistance regardless of race, religion, political affiliation or location. AAI will achieve its mission by continually building and enhancing its humanitarian relief capability. The manner in which this will be achieved will be through People, Planning and Partnerships.
