Established in 1972, the Woodland Trust is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity. Over the last 30 years or so, we have acquired more than 1,000 woodland sites covering over 20,000 hectares (50,000 acres). We also have over 300,000 members and supporters who help us continue our work. We want to see a country rich in native woods and trees enjoyed and valued by everyone
