More information
Founded in 2008, Malaria No More UK works with governments, the private sector, faith groups and the British public to raise vital funds and awareness to support projects in Sub Saharan Africa to help make malaria no more. The charity is part of the global Roll Back Malaria Partnership aiming to reduce malaria deaths to near zero by 2015. Ending deaths from malaria requires investments in prevention, diagnosis and treatment for malaria including bed nets, spraying, diagnostic tests and medicines. A vaccine is now in development to prevent malaria in the future. Malaria is a crisis — 780,00 deaths a year, and yet it is a preventable and treatable disease. Malaria No More UK creates breakthrough marketing campaigns, moments and media events that put malaria where it belongs: at the top of the agenda for policymakers and the general public.
