Taking Root is presently collaborating with small-scale farmers in Nicaragua. Its projects support and recognize the needs of rural communities as an integral part of a thriving ecosystem. Taking Root is putting forward a truly sustainable reforestation model: mitigating climate change, restoring ecosystems and generating local economic development.
