As a non-profit foundation sponsored by the public we are engaged in research and conservation projects and launch information campaigns in support of our native birds.

We regularly inform the general public, authorities and media about current developments in ornithology to promote the understanding of problems faced by birds in our human-influenced world and provide general information on the life of birds. It is the joint application of basic research, applied conservation and information which allows us to comprehensively address bird issues and to make optimal use of the generous donations obtained every year.
