Projekt U-landshjælp til Selvhjælp PULS is a Christian NGO, which is not bound to a specific church. The association was established on 1992. We support the recipients' own efforts to improve their lives and become self-reliant. We provide support for schooling and education for the under privileged especially street children and poor young girls. The activities are accessible to all regardless of tribe or religious orientation. The organization we work with, is an officially registered NGO in Tanzania, HELP TO SELF HELP PROJECTS (HSH). The basic activity is a school for vocational training situated in Arusha, where 300 students from the poorest communities receive education for one or two years. The school covers 3 lines of education: Household, textiles and electrical installations. In addition, students are taught health, disease prevention, childcare, family planning, AIDS prevention, maths, writing, English, accounting and Christianity.
