Forests of the World is an environmental organisation working to promote sustainable use of the world's forests, particularly in Denmark and in the rainforests of the tropics. For over 25 years, we have been working to preserve forests resources for the benefit of local communities and the environment and climate. This is accomplished through innovative projects with local communities in forest areas in Latin America promoting sustainable forestry and sustainable tourism. In Denmark and internationally we work through advocacy and campaigning. Much of our work in Denmark is carried out on a voluntary basis by our network of volunteers and supporters.
