Tamam is a religiously and politically independent aid organization working with children and youth experiencing social exclusion in Sweden, Albania, Mexico and Paraguay. The organization was founded in 2008 in Lund, Sweden, and has grown rapidly since then. Tamam’s motto Friendship without
borders permeates all the work – regardless if it is about working with newly arrived immigrant youth in Lund, arranging excursions for children living at the fruit market in Asunción, Paraguay or activities for the children in Marquinet, Albania. Every week hundreds of children and volunteers participate in some kind of Tamam-activity, and the special spirit of optimism and joy
that runs through everything that Tamam does is spreading like ripples on the water.
