Founded over 70 years ago, Plan is one of the oldest and largest children's development organisations in the world. We work in 48 developing countries across Africa, Asia and the Americas to promote child rights and lift millions of children out of poverty. Plan works with more than 3,500,000 families and their communities each year, helping children, young people and adults to get the knowledge and life skills they need to realise their full potential. From supporting immunisation programmes to training volunteers on strategies to combat malaria, Plan's health programmes help to save thousands of children's lives every year. We work with communities to improve access to safe drinking water and to raise awareness of the importance of sanitation.
