Progressio Ireland was established in 2004 as part of Progressio, an international development agency established in 1941 with offices in Dublin and London. We work at tackling the root causes of poverty by helping people in poor countries build sustainable livelihoods. We work in 11 of the world’s poorest countries. Progressio Ireland's work is implemented through our development worker programme. Development Workers are based in local communities where they build the skills of partner organizations in a skill-share system.
