Cancer Research Wales
To give hope to the 1 in 3 people who will be affected by cancer.
More information
Cancer Research Wales was founded in 1966 by Dr Ken Davies and since then our achievements for cancer research have been considerable, with over £3 million being raised over the past few years.
Our research experts, based at purpose built laboratories in Cardiff, are currently looking into ways to develop a cancer vaccine for treating specific types of cancer that do not always respond to radiotherapy or chemotherapy. Cancer Research Wales is the only National Cancer Research Charity in Wales supporting internationally renowned scientists and PhD students in Welsh hospitals and universities across the Principality.
