Being blind in a developing country not only robs you of your sight but also of your independence. Our assistance focuses on the poorest people for whom medical care is inaccessible or unaffordable. Our local medical teams organise eye camps in the inaccessible areas of our project countries. As many people with eye complaints as possible are screened in a short time in small buildings that have been transformed into temporary clinics. Eye Care Foundation supports training courses at different levels, in this way, we offer a healthy form of development aid where knowledge and skills stay in the relevant country.
