To provide an effective voice for and support to rural communities, particularly those who are most disadvantaged.

More information

Rural Community Network is a regional voluntary organisation established by community groups from rural areas in 1991 to articulate the voice of rural communities on issues relating to poverty, disadvantage and equality. We promote fairness, equality and equity of opportunity and access, challenging discrimination (in all its forms) and we value diversity. We ensure that everyone has the right to fully participate in the decision-making processes that affect their lives, increasing access to do so, by removing barriers and creating opportunities to influence/take part.
