In 1976 Mona Mansell, recognizing the limitations of professional help available in New York City for individuals and families affected by alcoholism, founded Freedom Institute. Its original mission focused on Interventions. Today, the Institute has developed into a resource center with a national reputation distinguished by its uniquely specialized services. Freedom Institute offers a comprehensive program of family consultations, Interventions, assessments, individual and group counseling and referral to Inpatient treatment centers. We assist at each step in the recovery process.
