UCRC is a community development NGO located in Western Kenya. We serve the area of Siaya District and neighboring communities to promote sustainable development, and empower communities through increasing access to information. We work towards a community that is sustainable, equitable and empowered. Through each of our programs we empower participants by improving access to information that can positively impact the community. We use extension workers and resource people to reach out to the community and share information and skills. By training resource people and encouraging them to train others, we create an environment where information reaches many.
