The South African National Council for the Blind (Council) is an umbrella organisation encompassing 103 member organisations to assist blind and partially sighted persons in South Africa. We strive to meet the needs of all blind and partially sighted people in South Africa. Our services include rehabilitation, education and training, the provision of assistive devices, social and economic development and programmes promoting the prevention of blindness and the restoration of sight.
