Registered in 2003, Mamelani has grown into a respected community development organization. Mamelani facilitates programs that assist people in taking action to improve their lives. Mamelani believes in developing communities by developing people. Mamelani works from the inside out, rather than from the outside in. In this way our programs are always in line with the real felt needs of the communities we work with. We facilitate programs that focus on developing people through health education, skills training and personal development. In this way we hope to promote self reliance and Ubuntu, the South African philosophy of realising the personal through the communal.
