To provide the communities with a means to gain successful employment in all possible sectors reversing the urban migration and to train rural youths on the new ‘appropriate’ technologies and 'skills' suitable for rural areas and that are being used in other parts of the country by the rural industries.

PFI FOUNDATION is an international NGO based in Assam with its HQ in Guwahati and branches in Silchar, Patherkandi (Karimganj) and Addis Ababa (Ethiopia). The Foundation focuses on various kinds of socio-economic welfare activities and work to promote community empowerment through awareness generation programmes and strengthening of local community organization through campaigns, preparation of information materials, youth leadership, self help groups.
