More information

Doctors For Developing Countries is an aid organisation that sends doctors to medically under-served areas, mostly to the slums of large third-world cities. Furthermore, the organisation provides the supplies and medications necessary for providing free medical, social and humanitarian aid to the sick and poor. Approximately 3000 people, some terminally ill, who would not otherwise have access to medical care are treated every day as a result of our actions. The doctors work on a voluntary and unpaid basis. Doctors for Developing Countries is currently involved in nine projects in Bangladesh, Kenya, India, Nicaragua and the Philippines.
