ADRA was founded in Germany in 1986 by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. ADRA works all over the world with numerous national and international partners to combat poverty and hunger. By implementing the development objectives of the United Nations (Millennium Development Goals), ADRA is laying the groundwork for people to have justified hope. ADRA helps people – regardless of their political and religious views, their gender or ethnic backgrounds.
