Islington Mind was founded in 1981 and has been actively involved in the development of mental health services in Islington. We are affiliated to National Mind and work with our local statutory partners: the London Borough of Islington, Islington Primary Care Trust and Camden and Islington Mental Heath and Social Care Trust. We improve the quality of life of all Islington residents who experience mental distress or are concerned about friends and/or relatives experiencing distress, while promoting the preservation of mental health and the recovery of people suffering from mental health problems.
