More information
Africa's non-government organisations (NGOs) join forces with the Iroko Foundation on a range of vital projects aimed at supporting village efforts to manage and conserve their community forests and wildlife. Though the projects are each unique, they all have similar themes running through them. Our environmental education centre and gardens will provide much needed information on environmental issues and will promote the understanding of biodiversity and environmental issues amongst young people. The Iroko Foundation carries out evaluations and project design for a number of other conservation charities. This provides a means of raising income for the charity and also enables Iroko to exchange ideas and experience with other projects elsewhere in Africa.
