More information

Children's Brain Tumor Foundation, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1988 by dedicated parents, physicians and friends. CBTF grants funding to research scientists to research the causes and effective treatments for pediatric brain and spinal cord tumors. The organization offers a toll-free support line where families may speak with pediatric oncology social workers. Programs such as the "Parent-to-Parent Network" allow families to share their experiences with those having similar concerns. CBTF hosts and sponsors events, such as the "Kids Cruise" and "Brain Tumor Week at Camp Sunshine," which offer families fun while building relationships within the community. CBTF co-sponsors conferences for families, survivors and health care professionals, offering the latest information about research, treatments and strategies for living.
