Our Mission

Appalachia Service Project is a Christian ministry, open to all people, that inspires hope and service through volunteer home repair and replacement in Central Appalachia.

ASP partners with youth and adult volunteers from across the country to effect emergency home repair projects in rural areas of Appalachian Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. Services extended include: repairing roofs, building room additions, providing wheelchair ramps, installing or repairing plumbing, updating unsafe wiring, securing foundations, digging drainage ditches, constructing porches and steps, installing insulation and siding, and weatherizing homes.
