The International DOVE Association is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian aid organization. International DOVE's head office is in Alberta, Canada. Overseas, we are currently focusing on Sierra Leone, a small, often overlooked country on the Western Coast of Africa. We are governed by a board of directors, all of whom have overseas experience. Our work is funded by private and corporate donations, grants, and income generated by development projects. We are a small organization, which means that personal care and projects for the orphans is usually a quick process. We work closely with national people and give them ownership of projects whenever possible. This allows us to build partnerships between the people of Sierra Leone and people in other parts of the world who want to be a part of the rebuilding process.
