Crossroads was established in 1995 to meet the need for intensive, specialized services for children with mental health issues in the Ottawa-Carleton region. The organization serves families experiencing the highest degree of crisis and severity, delivering long-term family and community benefits by providing families and children with the tools required to effectively address mental health and behaviour issues in the short and long-term. Crossroads provides a wide variety of educational opportunities in partnership with the University of Ottawa, Carleton University and Algonquin College, and supervised interns may carry out certain services.
