We strive to help alleviate world starvation by collecting donations from restaurant patrons and channeling the proceeds through established charities.

Crumbs From the Table is a new charity which is starting in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. We are incorporated with Industry Canada. Our objective is to place collection boxes in restaurants, inviting the patrons to donate a portion of what they have just spent on a meal to help alleviate world hunger. This money will be channeled through established charities. We will support immediate relief on the short term but our main aim is to encourage water and sustainable development projects which help people to supply their own food and become independent. We are also interested in micro-credit which gives small, interest free loans for very poor people to start their own businesses. We think the greatest need is probably in Africa.
